Partner Tom FitzGibbon assisted a Firm client in winning a case through the use of an anti-SLAPP motion. The case involved allegations of defamation against a whistleblower who was a witness in a USADA arbitration proceeding charging a bicycle racer with doping in cycling. The Los Angeles Superior Court dismissed the defamation action and the matter settled on a confidential basis as to the attorneys fees to be awarded to the Firm and its client.
